This week I learned details about the early development of the internet protocol in the late 60's as well as its up rise in the 90's. I learned that there is a difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web. In more simple terms, the internet is a network of many other networks that can communicate with each other and the "Web" creates a medium to access information over the internet through our web browsers.
In the Course Cast i learned about the new wave of technology. With the new android technology and the creation of the smart phones we are able to access information at the palm of our hands like never before. There are new GPS systems for direction and an endless amount of handy applications.
